yeah 15 and i'm hilarious, listen no one is bashing adkins, he's player of the year and i respect him, i'm not saying cody should be player of the year i'm just saying he deserves LPD first team.
I think Devin Miller should of got something. He came up big for Kelly in alot of the games. Thus proving that hard work is not really looked at in this league. <font color="red"> </font>
Maybe Salyers did, but maybe he was able to put up numbers due to Anderson and Hackney. Most of you can't relate to this, but its the Horace Grant with the Bulls thing. He put up good numbers, but it was mainly due to Jordan and Pippin. He was a good player, but his numbers were elevated by people having to focus on the others.
Unless I'm mistaken, Salyers is coming back, so he'll get his chance next year. Sometimes it seems like a whole team should make it, but normally 2 players is about the max from a team (sometimes 3).
What I am curious is how many times could Saylers have hit "big shots" as Gate City had few close games, and the later ones, it seemed like Hackney was the one hitting them all. As far as in the LPD, how many close games did they have? I don't know how you can hit clutch 3's when you're winning by 20.
No offense to him, but you take him off Gate City's team, they still win and probably win just as much. You take some of those other kids off, and you try to imagine what they would do.
And I have to agree with Wilson. You think that Norton didn't have their full team due to football till late. That players quit or whatever the case. And yes, like someone said, they weren't as skilled as they have been. He and his staff, got more out of them than I expected. Gate City, well, come on, who didn't think that they would win? Hugh gets it, because you had Gate City, Kelly and Clintwood all being considered good teams, and he was able to lead them. Scott, well Gate City was considered head and shoulders ahead, so its a bit tougher.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
